Patchwork of History

A “Patchwork of History” exhibit is being developed that will kick-off the main Bicentennial Celebration week of October 4th-13th: and will be on display at the Switzerland County Technology and Education Center from October 4th-6th.

A quilt show and exhibits that will be inculde the history of local organizations such as the Dumont Club, the Eggleston Club, and Tri-Kappa; veteran’s organizations including the VFW, the American Legion and the GAR; firefighting and law enforcement; fraternal organizations; and county fairs and 4-H. Memorabilia and information is being sought to develop this monumental exhibit.

The History committee of the Bicentennial needs the help of collectors and history buffs.
